Is it better to do long distance investing?

With the I-75 PeachPass, I definitely think there will be a surge of people who realize how (relatively) painless the commute from ITP to the Acworth area is.

Is there a particular reason you chose this city to do long-distance investing? 

Def need excellent management so it's not a long distance nightmare if you're trying to manage the property from afar while trying to focus on a new job... 

For an office I’d think about where most of your employees contractors live and pick something where their commute won’t suck.

We have 3-5 big stable plant employers in that area and alot of the workers are forced to commute an hour+ due to the limited units in the surrounding area.I like to think it's my duty to supply that demand and secure my investment future. 

I’m always listening to podcast when I’m driving which I do frequently because of my commute to work.

@Nikhil BatraWhile learning the market and deciding if this a time for you to jump in or not, you could still gain some experience at a distance and earn interest on your income by investing it with a local Hard Money Lender.

The current commute to Central Park is more than 1 hr, but a high speed train station right across where I bought the studio, is being built (and will be finished in 2 years).
