Spoke to a loan officer to try to get pre-approval.

I am looking to buy my first property, I recently meet with a loan officer and got approved for 400k.

. - Property will greatly increase as well with pre-approved plans for such a development.- I use to live in that little pocket of OB and my close friend still does, so I have my eye on that neighborhood.- Combining more than one of these options could also be a good possibility.- if you need referrals for lenders, developers, buyers reach out.

As-is most of the investors I know are picking up properties at 1% rent to value in these areas, but if you're willing to do a light cosmetic upgrade, or convert a garage and get approved for section 8 a 1.5% goal isn't too wild! 

I have a great credit score and have already been pre-approved by a lender.

I was reading that the approval process on a multifamily mortgage is more stringent, so I'm guessing I should start there (?).

We have it already approved and waiting.

Then can pay for backround check once I approve. 

Where does everyone recommend looking to get a mortgage or pre-approved for a loan for a house hack? 

in my area around 5-10% and mostly more successfully agent work like this its the same as some agent are not going to show properties without pre-approval letter or proof of funds.
