@Mike LandryYes, she could deed the property to you so you can pay the back payments, but you're still taking a tremendous risk by not having a title commitment to review...no telling what other liens may be lurkiing in the background.

Trying to do each project with separate crews would create a tremendous amount of management overhead, not to mention the difficult of finding several different contractors in each trade that I wanted to work with -- it just wouldn't be feasible.Add in the monetary benefits of using contractors serially on projects, and I really couldn't imagine doing it any other way.But again, that's just my experience/preference...I know others who prefer to have multiple crews, even for a small number of projects.
