Keep in mind that you get to depreciate these appliances on your taxes.

How keep it legal of course but more importantly how to do if effectively.

Keep networking with locals in your market who are doing what you want to do and then you will be able to chart a path forward.

I sold all my SFR rentals in that markets as collecting rent and keeping houses in good shape was just too tough.. ( thats jackson proper)  as I said madison and Ridgeland will be fine..

@Chris Magistrado if she knows what she's doing and consistently keeps a sharp eye on what's going on it's possible.Should have local "inspector" that can verify what's done and how well, before paying contractors.
