If you put 24 hours, that's a bit unreasonable, but you'll find out pretty quickly if you're high offer or not "We need a little more time... we wanted to hold an open house..." etc.

If they try to turn it into a civil issue, I will argue that it is not unreasonable to assume that a tenant who is violating arguably the most important tenet of the lease, is likely violating others as well and I want to be there to document....
