I wouldn’t allow this point  to kill your deal because it is so common and can be resolved through a bit of soul crushing bureaucratic process endurance on your part.  

I think the forums lost a lot of steam, partially because a lot of people left for the Facebook BP group and partially because BP doesn't listen to its members (we hated the fact they kept changing the forum format and they would change it back until they eventually decided to not listen to us).I feel like BP lost its soul.

Search your town or county and real estate investing and you can find a local investor group on Facebook (not all good, but if you lurk, you can see who is real and who is just selling their soul or looking for money).

To say a millionaire real estate investors are looking to spend time for free working with someone that has not yet done any sort of self education is not highly likely, but hey you never know.There was a guy a few years back on Bigger Pockets that was offering free training and free advice so I reached out to him to see if I could benefit from such a giving soul.
