I never skimp on knowledge cause its the best investment you can buy.

But if other houses are offering tiled bathrooms and you're the only one skimping out, you'll loose out on more money than it would've cost to just do tile. 

However, the worst place to skimp on budget, in my opinion, is where your legal entity is concerned.In a worst case scenario, if someone decides to sue the LLC, you want to make sure that it is drafted and maintained in such a way that it will stand up in court.Hope that helps and good luck on your REI journey!

I haven't emptied my emergency fund, been working overtime or an extra job, put a tax refund in, skimped or scraped by on anything, etc. - I simply put in a chunk of my own money at first to see how the numbers worked and then used the strategy and that's it.
