I personally prefer one rate per pet but I like to increase it for a large dog or a restricted/dangerous breed.

My big goal is to quit my job as a professor so I can devote time to getting my kids to where they need to be and so I can work on my hobby farm of breeding endangered heritage breed chickens...I've been at this dream for 4 years and 15 units are not going to be enough it seems...My freedom number is 50 units if I go the residential multiunit route. 

A "get rich quick" mind would probably not understand this, and the lack of self control and "investment" in the future will breed failure.
