We found our past rentals by going through a major RE company and asking for agent that dealt in rental properties.

These ideas have beeen around for ages, the creativity comes in the execution.

If it is rehabbing send them your bank statement you have cash to play.If you aren't getting responses, try contacting a broker or two and asking for a couple of recommendations for agents from their office.Does Redfin operate in your area?

They are designed to help bring people together, not necessarily for agents to farm, but it never hurts to have some cards ready to hand out should someone ask.

Most of them are not listed.It is also not uncommon for agents listing high value (> $1mm) properties to ask for POF up front.
