Here is what I suggest:1) Make a simple one-page app that is mobile scalable at squarespace.com.2) For content, add your info, and make sure your phone, email, and intentions (ie I buy houses, I want to help with...) is clear and bold.3) Launch site, apply your domain name, buy some Google Adwords and get to work.I would guess that if you spend any more time or effort than that on the actual site, you are likely wasting your time and keeping yourself from actually doing the legwork of this business.Sorry for all the opinion, but the website project is one that many new investors use to waste time and force more analysis paralysis.

In the last five years alone the market has been booming, and while the price of entry is higher than many areas, I think that if you're willing to sit on the property for a few months, a year, or a few years you would see great returns.A lot of big tech companies have been coming to Austin, it's culture of supporting small business has been great for startups, I read recently that they were had been polling for a professional sports team, and last, the prices of properties very near to some of Austin's biggest attractions (Downtown, the Domain, the Greenbelt, the lake, Circuit of the Americas) are still affordable.

Also, between 183 and 1 (Mopac) in North Austin seems solid because there are a lot of tech companies along the Parmer corridor and there is The Domain (upscale shopping mall, like Santana Row) in that region as well.Sub-$200K is tough, but mid-$200K is doable, as are some older low-$200K homes.
