Lots of wealthy foreigners have speculatively driven NY real estate prices unnaturally high because they want to own a "piece of America"...investing in places like NY is more of a big game hunt for status rather than actually investing to generate passive income...And investing in houses is a fools game in general.

You might go into a Wells Fargo Branch that is in the local area where your LLC was formed (I'm gathering it is a foreign LLC in Utah and a domestic LLC in South Carolina?).

@Jay HinrichsI only do notes in the US and i buy MFR in Montreal, and no i never looked into Portfolio interest...i just googled it; i'm not sure if i'm reading this right, but is it a tax exemption on interest income received for foreign investors????

I would like to find out what are the minimum requirements for a foreigner to apply for and own property overseas. do the same lessons that we have learnt on the biggest pockets podcast still apply to foreigners lessons such as the no money or low money down deals if so how can we apply for such as I would like to know the goals I should work towards.
