Is it legal to fire me based on my religion having a sacred day?

Ethics isn't what you may believe, it's not religion or an opinion, business ethics is an accepted way of doing business in a certain industry and not all industries are the same.

As a landlord, you have the freedom to rent to whoever you like, so long as you are not discriminating against potential tenants based on color, race, religion, sex, familial status or national origin.

This could be a discussion like religion and other topics that have no simple conclusion.1.

Find a better tenant without having the distinguisher being the service animal (or any other protected reason: race, religion, etc.). 

So if you have a large unit complex and you have more of one race, religion, etc. than another a potential minority tenant can sue that you are discriminating even though you have no idea what the race, religion, etc. makeup of your tenant base is because you do not keep those types of records (ie. ask on application) because that in itself could be a basis of a discrimination lawsuit.

And the opinion of a third lawyer will contradict both the first and the second one.Solution: find ONE lawyer who you like and trust (trusting an attorney is a stretch, I know) - and subscribe to that attorney's religion on asset protection.

. :)  I always tell my clients to find ONE attorney who appears competent, approachable and reasonable - and follow whichever asset protection religion he practices.
