Failing that, rent it on a long term lease option to wittle down the balance.Do you guys believe loan acceleration risk goes up substantially by trying to negotiate down the debt as the new owner of the property?

The headaches and maintenance expenses are not worth the additional income, so for our third property, we targeted one we could substantially remodel to a nice quality or one that was still in great condition.

It needed substantial repairs and remodeling but the owner worked out of town and just did not have the time or the energy to get them accomplished.
