Portland is changing so rapidly it is hard to keep up with.

There are suburbs around me that have expanded rapidly with new housing developments in dire need of medical facilities like urgent care and commercial retail, etc…vs driving to the city.

Perhaps because rapid pay off limits leverage based opportunities?

At first I was considering Chicago, since I am from Detroit, but now I started looking into Grand Rapids.

In fact, I think it would be a fantastic decision as you would be able to capitalize on future appreciation grains, and Co Springs is growing rapidly.

Hello, first post.I'm a 10+ year investor of a few units in Texas and I currently reside in California.I took a trip out to Arizona to visit some friends and the Surprise, AZ area piqued my interest.Lots of development in the area and looks like values have been climbing pretty rapidly over the last couple of years.A couple of friends of mine are already starting to look for investment properties over there.Was hoping to gain some insight on what others think of the area and more specifically what has worked best for the investors that are already in the area.Thanks!
