At that point if you wanted to, while you're co-located, you could manage both units yourself, which would help boost cash flow at least while you're stationed out there.Just my thoughts and some of the stuff I thought about when I bought my house in New Mexico.

By keeping 2 banks, I have two different bankers I can go talk to if I need something and the cash is not co-mingled, between what I consider the working capital and my monthly obligation fund (the deposits, taxes etc.).    

I learned everything from coordinating volunteers for a demolition party, placating investor fears, project management, mitigating contractor disputes, market analysis for apartments, advertising, property management, etc...

Do i get CO, clean title and no tax dues like in a regular closing ?

Possibly multi unit where I can have a reputable property management co. manage.

Having a "non-occupant co-borrower" is a great way to qualify for financing.

Can you recommend for RE agent and Property Mgmt co. in Merced ?
