I host a monthly meetup in South Minneapolis you can find under the events section on BP. 

@Aaron D Hanson I co-host a local meetup that I post here on BP.

He also hosts a meetup in Sherman Oaks once a month which I would highly recommend. 

I live in the Cambridge area but I have access to my office in Wakefield to host the game (fits ~40-50 people). 

In that, I would say the PM software needs to offer the following major features in today's market:- cloud based- mobile friendly - full accounting capabilities for Schedule E taxes (both per property and in aggregate) - So we don't have to use Quickbooks too.  

@Jenny Gremillion I use tenant cloud which is a free site for all my accounting.

My office (Real Estate One in Ypsi) often hosts a 1 week licensing class, that has a discount through Groupon. 

I host one in Oak Park in the near western suburbs. 

But not to the detriment of the host. 

We managed to sell our house 3 times... every time we hosted an open-house, offers would come-in and we would begin working towards the closing.
