If you spend the entire $150k and you have little reserves left, that doesn’t leave you much wiggle room.Leverage is the biggest reason why real estate is attractive as an asset class.

The prices are attractive to own but on the other hand I'm worried that these old properties will be difficult to sell when I need to.

If there is demand for other lifestyle sports, the golf course may just be suffering from being too poorly positioned to attract the right crowd.

I would be planning on renovating all at once as I don't believe I could attract proper tenants at the moment.

I'm interested in understanding what companies you contract with for housing, whether there's a stipend for housing, what amenities you look for in a place to rent, how close you prefer to be to your hospitals and what hospitals are attractive for traveling nurses.
