Then there's the near Metro-west (Newton, Dover, Wellesley) that are hyper expensive, Metro west, (Framingham, Natick), South Shore (Plymouth County) where prices are a lot more reasonable, South Coast (Fall River, New Bedford) where prices are lower still, the Cape.If you can narrow things down a bit, I'll try to help.
