So, why am I doing real estate for money?

Am I getting ripped off if I'm buying vinyl planks that will cost just as much as if I got hardwood.

Would love to connect with someone who is doing this on regular basis, preferably in the same county, or at least in the state (I believe tax sale and redemption laws are the same in the state regardless of the county, am I correct in this assumption?).

Am I responsible for this plumbing, as I believe the problem was here before I moved in?

Am I on track with the order of things?

So many different ways to calculate how "good" and investment is......some of the above % cited include an assumed X% appreciation year in and year out....and some of the bigger numbers are unrealized gains you don't ever see until you sell it..... so some of your reference numbers need to be based on what your short term goal of a return is and what the long term return is....so that perspective plays a role in what you consider a "good investment"....... does it pay me well NOW or am I only really seeing those #'s years and years down the road.....

There are tons of them and your question must be: why am I better than others?

Anyways, my question is, am I better off just learning to improve my property management skill set, or better off outsourcing property management?

Am I better working for a large commercial company with more structure or are there smaller companies that deal with single family properties and that will allow me to learn the ins and outs of the business?

Am I likely going to have to get more creative about purchasing?
