SO YOUR NEW TO THIS : SECRET #1

Hi all

I have had a really big response to the post here that BP turned into a Sticky here. I stated that I would post the second level of each of the ten secrets. So, here we go:

Secret #1: Your big why

This is by far the most important secret there is. If you don't know why you are really doing this then why do the work in the first place. Make no mistake, this is work but everything worth having takes work right? To find out the real story to your book you will have to do an exercise called the seven levels deep. Bare with me here....

Most people say it's money or freedom from work or time off....Sorry, you will find out that there is another reason deep down that you want this. I have seen it over and over with our students once they get to around the forth or deeper level that the true reason they want this comes out.  With that said here we go....

Start by asking yourself why you are doing real estate? and if you say it is for money then you start the next question with that answer!

So, why am I doing real estate for money? So that I can not have to work for someone else again. Then you do the next question with that. Warning here::::: Don't be alarmed if after a few levels you feel some emotion come to the surface... Happens a lot and it means your human...

Keep going and if you get stuck ask someone you feel comfort with to ask you the rest. Push through it and find that real why. It took me several times to get to the bottom but my big why was that I would never, ever let my kids struggle the way my mom did with me and my sister growing up. I never knew how much her crying about not having money for bills and school items for us hit my soul until I did this work. Remember to go as deep as you can and then write it down. This was the hard one guys.....
