As far as a notice for non-renewal or continuation of lease etc. aren't they removing this possibility by not paying rent?

The absolutely disgusting for-profit prison system in this country coupled with the removal of rights and social stigmas placed on felons does nothing more than encourage recidivism.

If they are asking for a new washer but the old one works fine, maybe tell them if they want to put their own in, you'll agree to remove yours for them, but they would be responsible for any damage caused from their installation, operation, or removal, and they'd be expected to take it with them when they leave.

Never ever ever ever again. ever.When they want something from you, they demand immediate action (Ex: Calling at 10pm to tell me my tenants had put a small yard gnome in the flower bed outside their door, demanding its immediate removal.)But when i requested that the dry rotted outer door jambs be replaced (per by-laws stating they are responsible for "from the studs, out") It took nearly 6 months of emails, phone calls, threatening legal action, and finally petitioning to have the president of the HOA removed.
