Just outside of 1604 the area keeps expanding tons of new neighborhoods popping up and several business have opted to locate or relocate there.  

I seem to recall one member mentioning that he became an accidental landlord because he was unable to easily sell his house when he was relocated, and ended up renting it out and beginning his investing career.It's certainly more challenging, and you would most likely need to have a non-military business partner or hire a management company, but it is indeed possible.Flipping, I believe, requires too much hands-on to do property while in the military, and I don't know enough about wholesaling to comment on the difficulty of running such a business while still in uniform.

Coming from both sides of the coin, where I own rental property in another state but am renting now after relocating to a new area while I look for something to buy, I would never ask a tenant to show a property or want to be asked to show either. 

Chances are they didn't go far and relocated in the same town.

Hey all - I've recently relocated from Los Angeles to a smaller city in the Northwest US.  

However, I did read that out of state guarantors may be difficult to collect from.The couple is from Michigan and are relocating to the area do to husbands work related training.

It doesn't sound like that is the case here.A better route might be a local church or bank to help with relocation and new belongings etc.

I still maintain a good connection with them but I have since relocated to North Carolina so I don't come across the off market deals in that area like I used to.
