We hate the tutorial, but know we have to go through it to understand the control and functions properly or we will surely be slain in an unforgiving and merciless death.  

They control a lot in terms of visiblity, types of tenants, access control, easements etc.

I rather unbelievably had someone tell me to do it myself after I gain access and control of the property.  

Form LR does not have this as an option, so I'm curious if it's not allowed because of rent control law?

At first it was meant to be a primary residence, but I decided shortly after that I want to get into rental property investing - my parents live closeby, so I do have the flexiblity of moving back in with them for a bit should I sell/rent.

If there are kids, are they running around like crazy, or can you tell the mom has control?
