The good news is that the Houston Metro area is always hot, hot, hot, and there are LOTS of BP members out there for you to learn from.  

The only gotchas are you can't use 4 - 6 digit numbers to text out, and some account setups can tell when you are using a VoIP phone and won't allow that to be your number of record.

This site in my opinion is as important to RE investors as TV was to the news back in the day! 

It didn't make the news as most stories were still focused on the pain of the foreclosure crisis and the robo signing.

I'd also recommend focusing on one county at a time, or homes close to one major school or one major highway. when you start beating the pavement and heading out to visit sites, you don't want to be in the car for hours just to check out a couple sites, you want to be able to see a double digit number of properties each weekend until you find that first investment. good luck!

This is good news because as rental rates rise, the CAP rates will also improve and it will further drive investor buying demand.

He says that accounting is much easier with a digital system of converting cash to cards/tokens that can be used in the machines.
