Hello from Sugar Land, Texas Bigger Pockets

Hello all!! I am a 44yr old married guy from Sugar Land, which is located southwest of Houston in Fort Bend County. I was recently laid off from a very good job managing oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico. I have no real experience with real estate investing, but have spent a huge amount of time over the past few months reading and attending local REIA meetings. My short term goal is just to get started with my first deal; 5 yr goal to support my family through real estate investing; long term goal to completely replace my former salary ($12,000/month after all deductions) and have a healthy small business to leave my children, should any of them wish to have it.

I would greatly appreciate any other experienced local investors who are looking to grow their current business to contact me.  I'd love to take you to lunch and discuss how we could help each other.

Thank you for reading and best of everything to you all.

Cheers,

Erick
