Hi,im 16 and want to be financially free before my 30’s, want to sell a lot of houses, own a lot of businesses, and im starting to learn and understand a little bit about the real estate game but haven’t mastered the understanding of it.

Whether that means finding ways to prove my flipping income (and more importantly pushing hard to bring that income way up), learning more about and mastering a niche like seller financing, or partnering with someone who is better qualified and doing something along the lines of 40 properties instead of 20… etc?

I cover Cortland and Watkins Glen as well.I've got a manager here who specializes in STRs and does some by master lease agreement.

I think over the next few years there will be some great technology coming out and perhaps that will move me into the 21st century but I'm currently old school and carry one master key for all my rentals.It works well for me though I can understand why short term rentals would 100% prefer the use of smart locks. 

One thing that slowed me down initially was trying to read everything on every topic, you get bogged down and become a "jack of all trades, but a master of none."

My professional background is in engineering with a Master's degree, so I have a very analytical mind and the drive to dive into problems with a personable and positive attitude.

I rented the rooms on this one as well and lived in the master.

Got it - I think that what's happening here is that you are just brand new to real estate and don't yet feel a master of the game.

The property inspection recommends a structural engineer primarily due to the master bedroom door scrapping the floor and the floor near the door not being level.
