I guess because I knew there was nothing much unusual about the request I didn't communicate exactly why I thought it would be easier for you to comply with the request and keep the wheels of progress rolling.I'm glad it worked out for you, and I'm glad you learned something new about landlording today. 

i agree with all other posts @Michael Germinariosounds like you did everything properly no more action needed on your part,unless they call back then answer the phone and get them to communicate by emailgood luck

@Doug Pretoriuscc @Douglas DowellI agree with everything you just said.And you need to get ready for court, always, in case a TBer or Seller gets an attitude and wants something not contracted for.IMHO, sub2 and wraps need training, and need solutions for funding if the loan gets caled due to DOS clause.Sandwich lease options can be done with excellent communication and coaching of TBers with Mortgage Qualifying.Lease Option Assignments need "under promising and over delivering", keep and eqe out for how things are going.

I do not have any ethical qualms about this as long as communications are honest.  

Also, i am checking out podio, seems very efficient for following up with prospects.  

These guys are used to working with each other so they are more efficient, and since I try to have work for them I am at the top of their list when something goes wrong.  3.

If he could not meet the expectation, he should have behaved professionally and at least communicated that he would be unable to make the commitment.

Integrity, creativity, clear communication, hard work, and follow-through are very important values to me.

Learned a ton and my goal now is to build out an efficient landlording system that is scalable and purchase another buy and hold property before the end of 2016 via seller financing or any other creative financing.
