Most owner finance offers are from investors and catered to those with bad credit, so few choices, so these properties generally  are offered at inflated prices and interest rates....not generally any bargains.

The choice of furniture is outstanding; not too traditional, yet not too far out there to cause negative reactions.

If she's comfortable where she's at, and needs that income for her retirement, I wouldn't risk it on more property- it's her money/property, explain some options, but it's ultimately her choice.

With credit hard choices have to be made.The question becomes: ( How bad do you want to invest ?

there are many choices the big box companies usually have the most intense training .. but are also the most expensive. 

Saco Biddeford Savings, Bangor Savings, Optima Bank and Trust (location dependent) are some good choices.
