When I talk to the MLO's do I need to get prequalified for a loan when I am shopping for financing without actually pursuing a property yet? 

@Christopher Vis there are defiantly lenders out there who aren't as stuck on DTI..the terms are all different and you have to shop around but they defiantly exist.

This process reminds me of shopping for a used car!!

Of course shopping in another city I know nothing about is like shopping in dreamland.

We as Americans are a consumer society.  

He and his brother (some jointly some separately) own a couple shopping centers, other apartments, a few houses, etc.

the main problem is that i am a american that lives in both miami and paris, and many years in paris have left my credit , a big mess, and the owner just wants to cash out, i have seen the accounts, but to get the complete set he wants to see that i have a lender in place.

They may own (free and clear) a nice car, some jewelry or other items of adequate value (or preferably great value) to act as compensation for the lost rent.I'm not suggesting that you open a pawn shop service for wayward tenants, but in this one case, since you're seem to be having difficulty taking direct action against the children's welfare, you might want to barter for the missing cash component of the next three month's rent.Like others above, I however still confused about why you as the listing agent are burdened with this decision.  

Real Estate is huge in the sense that it is a shopping mall with many stores inside that can be related to income opportunities.
