So if you overpay by even 10% in the beginning, and have to sell suddenly (change in life situation), you'd have to come up with a good amount of money to close, considering the costs to buy and sell a property.

I acquired a tax deed property in Winter Haven, FL in August 2017.Before I acquired it I paid off all the taxes to bring it auction.Both me and the county did a title search and research on the property and there were no liens and encumbrances on the property.This past tax year, suddenly I have liens on the property..

Search these pages and they are full of people saving "big" money on property management, but they're here begging for amatuer advice because they suddenly have a legal or financial problem that they have no idea how to handle (and most of the people on the boards here don't either).If you are local, you could probably make it work by getting referrals from friends and family for contractors, lawyers, etc.
