I have property with this type of heat and, not only were the utility costs very high, a couple of zones failed because the mesh elements in the ceilings failed.The repair cost was prohibitive when I finally found someone who would even touch it.

Fines are usually in the neighborhood of $10k+ EACH, plus a prohibition from getting a license for x number of years.I don't see where an LLC or Corp is going to help in wholesaling as far as protecting you.

Basically, he becomes better informed.If it is found to contain ACM and the rough estimates for abatement are project prohibitive, then the OP can make an informed decision as to what to do next.Personally, I sympathize with what I suspect happened to the OP.

Also, the benefit lies in the fact that having a third party managing the LLC makes it harder for the IRA account owner to inadvertently engage in a prohibited transaction and disqualify the IRA.
