Timing was really bad - the contractors lined up to do the work were not available by the time my lender funded, so we sat on the backburner a couple of weeks - just in time for the city to be doing work in front of our house and notice our project had no permit - major delay Did you work with any real estate professionals (agents, lenders, etc.) that you'd recommend to others?
