@Jennifer White nothing.Educate yourself and you will not have surprises.And I am not talking about only through the internet and podcasts, buy books about RE and read them all, I’ve read like 5-6 books before my first deal, you wont have much surprises after.

They don't bother me, but many guests freak over them.Awkward living-room layout that makes it nearly impossible to watch TV.Passageway of about 10" into dining room.Cupboard that opens on, and is only accessible from, the living room rather than the kitchen.Basement apartment = noise upstairs.
