I've been researching the past couple weeks on the recent advancements in RE crowdfunding platforms regulated through the SEC.

@jesse did you put it on lot's of platforms and did some advertising for it?

Everyone I work with in NY go outside of that (and I don't share those markets publicly anymore since investors have a bad habit of attacking them as soon as I do now that I have a platform).

You would need to buy a single one and get very lucky - at that point it's more like gambling.

I know quite a few people in Tech and they are all concerned with how funding is slowing down and quiet layoffs.In the past, it was really easy to raise money for startups because there were so many new millionaires willing to financially gamble on ideas.

I have invested in over 40 RE debt deals on various crowdfunding platforms.  

I am using BiggerPockets as a networking platform as well as a learning tool.

You could be onto a great deal, but make sure your sitting pretty without having to raise the rents, because if you have to raise rents to make it work, your gambling!

I am in the process of setting up an Israeli real estate listing platform  which is more complex, but if you have a look at this site you'll have an example of what can be done with Weebly. 

What I'm looking for in the long term:- moving my existing rental property from my name to LLC (I have 1 VA home under my belt, been rented out for 4 years now )- tips/suggessions on how to start my LLC for real estate Buy-Hold purchases- Learning from people of Biggerpockets on Buy-Hold investments...Also want to thank the founders of this site Joshua Dorkin & Brandon Turner for such a platform to learn and share known in real estate investing.
