There's a lot that can be said about automatic stays but generally the sale date would be postponed if it's their first time filing.

I think your information may be a bit dated Mike.

If they give you a date they will be caught up and this date goes by, start the eviction process.  

If you will be ready to rock in a month, what the heck- why not start making offers and include a closing date that aligns with your schedule?

I would contact your real estate agent and attorney as soon as you can, they’ll have to change the dates on the contract and then have you sign with the dates you want.
