@Patrick Hicks I have one condo in my portfolio and I ended up solving a similar problem by joining the board, unfortunately.I can't imagine why the Board would go through the trouble of a special assessment for an extra $150 per unit.  

It just came up on the market for around $70,000, is assessed at $160,000, and I am wondering if I shouldn't give it a shot.Any recommendations for going about getting a renovation loan for the property?  

What would be the easiest way to find the number for these homes to use in my calculations that would show the taxes that would be assessed if the property was used as an investment property?

I have been wholesaling for a little over a year now, I made some progress in my first year, but I want to move my investing career toward CRE.

At $1.2M purchase price with some special assessments, my guess the property taxes are closer to $18k/year.3.

There is no interior access between the 2 units.Do you think the appraiser will assess this as a two unit property?
