New member from the Southwest Chicago suburbs

Hey all! My name is Dale and I just discovered BP and am learning tons! I have been a Plumber for 20 years (where has the time gone??) from Plainfield, Il and am looking to buy my first flip house as a cash buyer in the next couple months. I'm looking to do a few SFR flips, and then transition into BRRRR. I have been wanting to do this since the early 2000's, but life kinda got in the way, plus the late 00's were not too great for new construction (my main plumbing gig at the time) Which is when I lost my first nest egg... (like so many others) My end goal is to be able to support myself doing this and maybe walk away from my $100k+ job. This looks like a great place for networking and can't wait to make some contacts. I wish I had found this place years ago!!

Dale Riola how's it going, and welcome to BP. What areas on the southwest side of chicago are you looking? Are you open to Indiana or any other areas in IL? What's your targeted ROI for flips? What range of ARV are you typically looking for in SFHs?
