Because it happened to your family, I imagine that you might always have that fear and mistrust, whoever is in charge of the Mexican government.

I've patronized a restaurant that has one set up over the patio area to keep leaves from falling on your plate and in your drinks.

The areas will really depend what is most important in terms of proximity to the campus, walkability, nearby shops/restaurants or transit.  

Given that you plan to house hack, I think figuring out which neighborhoods are convenient to work, offer decent 2-4 units at reasonable prices, are safe, and offer the amenities (restaurants, night life, shopping, etc) are going to be important to you.

Guys, I may be moving back to the Cape myself, if so I will be sure to reach out to you and start my own REIA, I'm initially thinking Mashpee 99 restaurant on a day TBD simply because I know the area and have a family member who has senority and may be able to get us a slot by ourselves on night!

It was an eclectic feel to it with lots of trendy antique stores and great restaurants.

When I go out to the restaurant , I dont bring my own steak with me . 

Hip, younger, bar and restaurant types of renters, hopefully it turns out to be a decent investment.
