A lot of parts are very oil-driven so the "attractive" assets you see today can suffer from dramatic swings in valuation.

I've only driven through Broad street, which seems a "little" chaotic and distressed. 

Cincinnati is primarily a financial center and its economy is not nearly as driven by manufacturing as other cities in the region.
