We just got a Va mortgage for our primary home as we just moved here from south Florida.We are trying to get pre-qualified for this second loan but it seems like we are at 65% DTI ratio and the bank want a co-signer.Any ideas how to go around this or any suggestions how to make this happen?

Can a third party lease part of a second home property for a commercial purpose?

The neighbor's son, who also heard the noise, tackled the suspicious guy, and yelled to his father to call the police.

The property, however, has returned $12,000 per year in income for the past ten years after my father fixed it - hundreds of hours of labor plus about $20k. 

Does he file a second Lien (first is the bank)? 

I am not interested in why a applicant does not qualify or to complicating my process by having to qualify a second non tenant, chase that individual for payment and possibly risk having to evict. 

Would this second loan be considered a refinance or a new home purchase loan?

My father runs a property management company here in Jax, Fl and that’s right up his alley.  

I haven't personally been to the second meet-up just yet but surely intend too!

.- Built two walls/doors separating first floor from second floor and installed a washer/dryer in one of the third floor bedrooms during renovations. - Roommate rents out bottom floor while I live on the top two floors.- The ROI on house hack reno is 100% (will recoup all costs within the first year)- Concerned that this semi-split set up  may not be very appealing to future renters once I move out in 5-6yrs and rent it out- It looks fine cosmetically but closing off these levels makes the house feel somewhat less open.- Located in suburban area.Tearing down two walls and removing the upstairs w/d would not be very expensive so if it would be worth it to do this prior to moving out, it is something I would consider.
