We'd like to seek a construction loan to complete the build of our new home - does anyone know if a typical real estate rental business plan would be sufficient to show potential income increase? 

Once, I buy them, I plan to aggressively prepay them and increase my cash flow.I am looking for a tool, app or website that can help me create a financial plan to continue saving, investing and financing properties.

Happy tenants, kept the house in good shape and didn't ***** or bat an eye when we had their next rent increase.

But I do not waste time with verbal offers because in my state they are worth the paper they are written on.

Mostly Southwest uses Love Field, the smaller older airport....so don't go there looking to fly to Sydney.Dallas has to be Real Estate Meetup Central....seems like 3-4 a week depending on your focus.Two I really like are on Thursday nights in Dallas NTAREI and Saturday mornings in Fort Worth DFW Real Estate Investor Club. 

Is it worth it or am I better off just continuing to read articles, forums and videos in order to learn.

At the time, it was worth it.

It has been booming for the past couple of years with strong job growth and population increase.

We're interested in a place to live that breaks even with 3 units rented, has some value to add and is relatively clean in an area good for raising kids (no ghetto/near industrial, etc)  We have about 100k of skin.What are some areas worth focusing on?

Although it seems like an option worth exploring, I don't see any deals that seem reasonable.
