I purchased on the west side, about a half mile south GB West High School.

I'm 1000% more interested in this than anything I'm learning in school.

The problem I run into is that I am just a beginner and I am barely going to start real estate school.

I would love to know everyone's thoughts because there are a few schools nearby that have a 7 or even an 8/10.

Cons: It’s a developing area, still feels like in middle of nowhere, and schools are not good.

Glad to hear the old school off market methods may still have some value.

Managed to save $16k intending to invest, was finishing school, and surfing and training jiu jitsu every day.

The house is perfect for us, as it is right across the street from our son's school, so we have not been negotiating as hard as we otherwise might. 

I'm targetting the good school district areas (West LaF?
