Marketing rental through MLS
4 August 2011 | 21 replies
We did offer a $500 commission to brokers who brought in a qualified renter for one of our rentals, but they never delivered, i.e., my PM filled the vacancy himself. Our latest house will go on the MLS as well, but our PM (a different one for this property) says he will just pay $100 as a referral fee.Maybe some agents and Realtors can chime in here with what the industry norm is and what the typical expectations are for compensation when producing a qualified tenant for somebody else's property.
