Usually, on a refi, the LO picks title/escrow, and there's minimal interaction between the consumer and title/escrow aside from scheduling the notary at the end.

I figured that this would allow me to look for deals in the hottest neighborhoods and I wouldn’t waste my time in neighborhoods too bad to fix a house in or too good to find deals.
