Can't remember how I ended up on Bigger Pockets because I actually joined over a year ago, but lately I've been catching up by listening to a ton of the podcasts and getting inspired to get started.

Finding inspiration from those undertaking similar journeys will help.

There is a natural selection bias on the site in that those who got burnt are not here to tell their stories, so all we hear are the success stories (which are helpful and inspiring, but would ideally be balanced by failures).

Im inspired by your detailed goals, I need to formulate that soon as well.

Nevertheless, I'm in this for the long haul, and I'm inspired by the benefits that real estate investing can have for all concerned.I'm currently based in New York City, but am also becoming interested in the Miami market, and in possibly relocating there sometime in the future, if things work out favorably for it.
