In any event, your picture shows two completely different size cabinets (height) and I don't see how you can make this work without altering one of them. 

I shortened a window by, after framing for the right height, simply having the installer make a flashing fascia from the bottom of the actual window down to the sill.

Not a good deal unless you can get the price considerably lower.
