As far as the lockbox deal, you can ask and I have heard of some agents willing to do that, I would not because its my license on the line.Being loyal to an agent ( obviously as long as the agent is loyal and decent to you ) is in your best interest, with anything in life, the relationships you build should help you down the road.You can use the listing agent, but its not in your best interest, while there is dual agency ( meaning agent is handling both sides of transaction ) and our ethics says we should represent both parties equally, your still better off having your own separate agent represent and fight for you.
