But I networked and found a rental agency with a good reputation who does some sales.

However, since that company has managed so many properties and seems having a good reputation, I assume they must know their business.

I've used a reputable and quality stucco guy here in Albuquerque and he is also a customer at my restaurant.

@Todd ShampoeAs you mentioned, you are new and as an inexperienced newbie it is good to explore ideas and options because you are right, you don't know.

Is that common knowledge and practice, I doubt it.I'd try to have a good reputation in a small town if I wanted to stay in business. :)

They may not say anything to the slick operator as they are paying them, but their reputation is tossed around among peers.

@Samia Bingham and @Oliver Sanchez - I know this is an old thread, but opening a coworking space is something I am exploring as well. 

The only killer may be the fact that yours is not going to be OO, whereas my mother resided in ours so it was considered OO.Unfortunately, that bank has since been bought out but it still may be an option that's worth exploring with one of the other banks down there.
