I was thinking of DSCR as well as it would have no problem with LTV or DSC Ratios on appraised rent vs. expenses.

I am already preapproved and could move on to something else that would not cash flow nearly as well.

Also, drilling a well is not always an option.

Tristan, I was hoping you would get some input as I would love to know the answer as well.

STR in those areas do well year round because of fall colors and ski resorts and snow mobiling if they are on a lake, but on the flip side you are paying significant more because they serve dual purpose.  

I figured, while I'm doing my own research/self paced education by reading books, I might as well take a course as well and get my RE license!

You could also cross reference paystub income with income on their bank statements.
