Moving furniture, covering their stuff, dogs peeing on my canvas tarps, kids opening cans of paint and making a mess, they work 2nd shift and I can’t start until noon after they got ample sleep.

Also, to that end, would you recommend just keeping the current furniture and then doing all new after renovation?

@John Vietmeyer Does this mean if i wanted to use this space as a man cave or so, i shouldn't put heavy furniture, tv, tables, etc..?

If we do this and make it as a short term rental, can things be written off such as Interest Rate, Points, Repair and replacement of appliances in the property, fixtures, furniture, utility bills, HOA, (coffee etc for guests?)

It took about $30K of remodel and furniture. but it is constantly rented and makes between $1200 and $1700 a month pure cash flow ( depending on the length of stays.)
